Flagstaff Unified School District has been in session for a couple weeks but is currently dealing with a cyberattack. The attack started on September 4th, when employees reported signs of an attack on the computer network. FUSD Representative, Zachary Fountain, says that he and his team are focused on working on a containment strategy. The FUSD decided to close schools for two days. Superintendent, Michael Penca, would like to thank all of the IT technicians and volunteers who helped protect the ransomware.
