June 1

At 8:15 a.m., a concerned person reported another person was attempting to talk to traffic signs near McCreary Street NAUPD officers responded and the subject agreed to stop talking to signs and left campus. The signs were left without anyone to talk to.

June 2

At 8:14 a.m., University Union staff members reported hearing someone inside a locked restroom. An NAUPD officer responded after the staff could no longer hear anything in the bathroom. The officer was able to gain entrance to the restroom and discovered it empty.

June 3

At 9:23 p.m., a student reported the theft of their jewelry from their room in Tinsley Hall. An NAUPD officer responded and took a report.

June 6

At 6:30 p.m., the Flagstaff Police Department transferred a burglary alarm call from just north of campus on Beaver Street to NAUPD. An NAUPD officer responded but no criminal activity was witnessed.

June 8

At 7:28 a.m., a Gabaldon Hall staff member reported a suspicious person made the staff feel uneasy. An NAUPD officer responded but the suspicious individual had left and no criminal activity was observed.

At 4:46 a.m., a student reported the theft of the seat off their bicycle near the Calderon Learning Community. An NAUPD officer responded, took a report.

At 6:40 p.m., a Reilly Hall RA reported several subjects trapped inside of an elevator. Flagstaff Fire Department and an NAUPD officer responded and those in the elevator were safely removed. Facilities was notified of the broken elevator.

June 9

At 1:49 p.m., a University Union staff member reported seeing and smelling smoke in the building. FFD and NAUPD officers responded and after the building was evacuated, “debris” left on top of a grill was discovered as the source of the smoke.

June 10

At 10:44 p.m., a student living at The Suites reported people playing loud music outside of their room. An NAUPD officer responded and told those listening to the music to turn it down. They complied.

June 11

At 9:45 a.m., a Science Lab Facility staff member reported a non-student sleeping in a stairwell. An NAUPD officer responded but whoever was sleeping in the stairwell had left. No criminal activity was witnessed.

June 16

At 11:22 p.m., NAUPD officers cited and released a non-student for driving with a suspended license on West Hoskins Avenue and South O’Leary Street.

June 19

At 10:08 a.m., a University Union staff member reported two intoxicated non-students loitering and harassing students. NAUPD officers responded and both intoxicated individuals were informed they were trespassing and left the area.

June 21

At 4:05 a.m., a McDonald Hall resident reported an incident of domestic violence. NAUPD officers responded. The domestic violence report was unfounded but two students were deferred for disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia.

At 8:51 a.m., a staff member reported a dog left unattended in a vehicle in the parking lot behind Cline Library. NAUPD officers responded and found the vehicle running with the air conditioning on. The police blotter has no record of any follow up with the owner.

June 22

At 10:42 a.m., a staff member at The Suites reported that a truck had spilled gasoline in the area. NAUPD officers responded and helped contain the spill.

June 23

At 4:47 p.m., a staff member at the HLC reported a student feeling dehydrated. Gaurdian Medical Transport and an NAUPD officer responded but the student refused medical transport.

June 24

At 1:06 a.m., a Tinsley Hall resident reported people being too loud. NAUPD officers responded but no disturbance was discovered.

At 9:34 p.m., a staff member reported the sound of a gun shot near the observatory fields. NAUPD officers responded but no criminal activity was witnessed.

At 9:40 p.m., a summer housing assistant at Gillenwater Hall reported the odor of marijuana. NAUPD officers responded but no criminal activity was observed.
