Oct. 12

At 8:12 a.m., staff at the Science Lab Facility requested medical assistance for a student. NAUPD, Flagstaff Fire Department (FFD) and Guardian Medical Transport (GMT) responded, and the student was transported to Flagstaff Medical Center (FMC).

 

At 10:58 a.m., staff at Drury Inn & Suites reported a subject refusing to leave the property. NAUPD, FFD and GMT responded, and the subject was transported to FMC for intoxication.

 

At 12:12 p.m., a student at McConnell Hall reported someone stole their keys and used them to move their vehicle. NAUPD responded and took a report.

 

At 1:41 p.m., Flagstaff Police Department (FPD) requested assistance with locating a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident off campus. NAUPD located the car in Knoles Parking Garage and took a report.

 

Oct. 13

At 1:40 a.m., a resident at SkyView requested a welfare check on a subject sleeping outside the building. NAUPD, FFD and GMT responded, and the subject was transported to FMC for intoxication. One student was deferred for minor in consumption of alcohol.

 

At 10:46 a.m., staff at University Union requested assistance with a student who passed out. NAUPD, FFD and GMT responded, but the student refused medical transport.

 

At 10:05 p.m., a student reported a suspicious person at the intersection of South Beaver Street and West University Avenue. NAUPD responded and a student was criminally deferred for possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Oct. 14

At 4:23 a.m., custodial staff at the Aquatic and Tennis Complex requested a welfare check on a subject sleeping outside the area. NAUPD responded, contacted the nonstudent and determined they were not in any distress.

 

At 9:14 a.m., NAUPD reported contacting a nonstudent who was already in custody at Coconino County Detention Facility (CCDF). The subject was charged with theft and possession of stolen goods in reference to an existing case.

 

At 12:48 p.m., a subject at the Union reported a suspicious person. NAUPD responded and one nonstudent was booked for third-degree trespassing.

 

At 9:05 p.m., staff at McConnell Hall reported the odor of marijuana. NAUPD responded and two students were deferred for possession and use of marijuana, and one was also referred for a code of conduct violation.

 

Oct. 15

At 12:28 a.m., a student at Mountain View Hall reported attempting suicide. NAUPD, FFD and GMT responded, but the student refused medical transport. Officers provided a public assist ride and Counseling Services was advised.

 

Oct. 16

At 12:39 p.m., an employee at Cline Library reported two nonstudents possibly drinking alcohol. NAUPD responded and warned the two nonstudents of trespassing.

 

At 2:23 p.m. NAUPD reported backing up FPD on a shots-fired call off campus. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

 

At 7:14 p.m., NAUPD officers reported attempting to serve an arrest warrant at The Suites. One student was booked into CCDF for an active warrant.

 

Oct. 17

At 12:08 a.m., staff at Cowden Hall reported the odor of marijuana. NAUPD responded and one student was referred for a code of conduct violation. 

 

At 12:10 p.m., an NAUPD officer was waved down by a subject who informed them of a person on the top floor of the San Francisco Parking Garage. The nonstudent was identified and instructed to stay off the roof.

 

At 7:37 p.m., an NAUPD officer initiated a traffic stop at Knoles Drive and Riordan Road. The case remains open, pending further investigation for charges of drug paraphernalia and narcotics possession. 

 

Oct. 18

At 10:40 a.m., NAUPD reported assisting FPD with a trespassing incident off campus. Two nonstudents were identified and left the area.

 

At 5:34 p.m., a student at McKay Village reported a late theft of food from their apartment. NAUPD responded and took a report
