LJ in the UK - Travel Log

Those who have noticed our fancy new masthead may have clued in to this already — The Lumberjack is extending its coverage to the United Kingdom this summer 2022.

Eight student journalists are headed to Canterbury, England on May 14 to gain experience in international correspondence and immerse themselves in a new culture. As they embark on their journeys, students are hoping to cover a wide range of events and aspects of life in the U.K. This will include everything from political and environmental issues to pub culture and daily life.

Aside from this coverage, be sure to read the staff travel logs to experience Canterbury and what it is like to be an international student journalist through The Lumberjack reporters’ eyes.

The Lumberjack will remain in the U.K. to produce international content through June 5. As with any story throughout the normal course of the school year, all stories from abroad can be found on JackCentral.org. For the most up-to-date information, be sure to follow @JackCentral on Twitter and @TheNAULumberjack on Instagram and TikTok.

On behalf of everyone at The Lumberjack, bon voyage to our journalists traveling overseas!
