While northern Arizona has been experiencing mild temperatures to the runup of Arizona Snowbowl’s Nov. 19 opening day has led to the delay of their opening until further notice. 

In a Twitter post, Arizona Snowbowl cited mild temperatures have put a burden on their snowmaking teams to maintain their commitment of providing an amazing opening day.

“As Mother Nature continues to bring us mild temperatures, our scheduled opening day of November 19th is delayed until further notice,” Arizona Snowbowl tweeted. “We will continue to work tirelessly for you to produce the best snow with our state-of-the-art snowmaking system.”

Customers who have purchased tickets in advance will be notified by a customer service representative 72 hours in advance of their ticket date if the mountain remains closed to assist with any exchanges and credits. 

In the meantime, Arizona Snowbowl requests customers to checkout their blog and social media for daily updates.
