At 1:43 a.m., a student at Lot 44 called to request assistance as their vehicle had slid close to another vehicle. The other vehicle owner was contacted and both persons will take care of the issue tomorrow.
At 11:57 a.m., NAU employees reported an NAU-owned, heavy equipment vehicle damaged a parked car. NAUPD responded and took a report.
At 9:58 p.m., an officer reported checking on a student at Mountain View Hall. The subject was not in any distress.
At 11:36 p.m., an officer reported checking on a subject in a vehicle at Mountain View Parking Garage. No criminal activity was witnessed and the student was identified.
Jan. 24
At 3:24 a.m., a student at Skyview Apartments called requesting assistance with a lockout. Staff was contacted and NAUPD assisted the student.
At 8:41 a.m., an employee called to report a gas smell at the I-17 exit ramp. NAUPD responded and no odor was present.
At 9:54 a.m., a student called to report unauthorized parking at Mountain View Parking Garage. NAUPD responded, provided assistance and notified parking services.
At 11:22 a.m., an employee called to report a suspicious odor at South Village Apartments. NAUPD responded and the odor was caused by rotten food.
At 6:46 p.m., a Reilly Hall staff member called to report a suicidal subject. NAUPD responded and took a report. The student was assisted by Terros Health.
Jan. 25
At 10:43 a.m., an officer reported a student had slipped on ice at Lot 62. NAUPD responded and a report was taken.
At 11:43 a.m., a student at Lot 16A requested assistance with a vehicle stuck in the snow. NAUPD responded and assistance was provided.
At 3:09 p.m., a staff member called to report a hit-and-run accident at Lot 32. NAUPD responded and information was taken.
At 9:21 p.m., a non-student called to report suicidal threats of a student at Mountain View Hall. NAUPD responded and the student was identified.
Jan. 26
At 5:22 a.m., NAUPD provided an escort to the John Haeger Health and Learning Center.
At 4:14 p.m., a student called to report criminal damage to their vehicle at Lot 65. Police Aide responded and took a report.
At 9:05 p.m., Morton Hall staff called to relay third-party info about yelling at an unknown location in Morton Hall. NAUPD responded and could not locate anyone needing police assistance.
At 9:22 p.m., a Lot 32C employee reported witnessing a hit-and-run, no injury accident. NAUPD located the suspected vehicle and a note was left to the owner due to minimal damage.
At 9:46 p.m., NAUPD staff reported a student showed up and intimidated them at home. NAUPD responded and provided information.
Jan. 27
At 7:58 a.m., a Morton Hall employee called to request a standby to keep the peace. NAUPD responded and assistance was provided.
At 1:09 p.m., a Gammage Building employee called to report a trespass in progress. NAUPD responded and one student was booked into Coconino County Detention Facility for trespass.
At 4:51 p.m., a student at The Suites called to report stalking. NAUPD responded and took a report.
At 7:17 p.m., NAUPD received a call from an elevator. Flagstaff Fire Department responded and the students were safely removed from the elevator.
At 9:35 p.m., a staff member at Hilltop Townhomes called to report a sexual assault. NAUPD responded and took a report.
Jan. 28
At 1:05 a.m., a vehicle was stopped and observed at South Fountaine Street and East Franklin Avenue. A warning was issued for failure to obey a traffic control device and registration not in possession.
At 11:40 p.m., a student called to report a loud party at Hilltop Townhomes. NAUPD responded and told the students to break up the party. The students complied.
Jan. 29
At 12:05 a.m., a vehicle was stopped and observed at 11 North Verde Street. An officer initiated a traffic stop and one non-student was cited and released for Driving Under the Influence (DUI), DUI over .08, extreme DUI and open container in the vehicle.
At 12:25 a.m., a student called to report a male subject at The Suites standing between two buildings. NAUPD responded and no criminal activity was witnessed.
At 1:18 a.m., a student called to request assistance for a student with an injury. The student was transported to Flagstaff Medical Center (FMC) by ambulance and deferred for underage consumption of alcohol.
At 2:21 a.m., a student at Drury Inn & Suites called to request assistance for a student with an injury. The student was transported to FMC by ambulance and deferred for underage consumption of alcohol.
At 12:18 p.m., a student at Wilson Hall called to report a theft. NAUPD responded and took a report.
At 9:20 p.m., Drury Inn & Suites staff reported non-student trespassing. The subject was arrested and booked into Coconino County Detention Facility on an outstanding warrant.
