The National Weather Service (NWS) in Flagstaff issued another weather event warning for the area beginning late Monday night, March 15, into Tuesday morning, March 16, with accumulations up to four inches.

Meteorologist Brian Klimowski said in a phone interview most of the snow predicted will fall late tonight into Tuesday morning, but did warn of potential lingering snow showers.

“For the Flagstaff area, basically, one to four inches as this quickly moves through overnight tonight,” Klimowski said. “We should see this snow starting around midnight, and lasting until three to four in the morning. We'll have a couple of scattered showers through Tuesday morning, but really the bulk of the accumulation will be overnight.”

Klimowski also mentioned the possibility of more snow in the near future.

“There's even a chance for some moisture again late this upcoming weekend we got to keep our eye on,” Klimowski said.
