The Coconino High School baseball team was producing runs all game against the Flagstaff High School Eagles April 27 at Flagstaff High School. The Panthers came out as victors with an 11–0 win over the Eagles in the final baseball match of the regular season.

The Flagstaff High School Eagles took on the Shadow Mountain High School Matadors in a sectional baseball match April 6 at Flagstaff High School. Coming into the game, both teams were looking for their first win in the section. The Matadors put on an offensive display, winning 17–5.

Coming off of a 12–1 victory over Peoria High School, the Flagstaff Eagles softball team shutout Cactus Shadows 10–0 at home April 1. Senior pitcher Taya Mortensen led the team through six innings of play with seven strikeouts and only five allowed runners on base and seven strikeouts.

Despite a strong rally in the seventh inning, the Coconino High School Panther’s baseball team lost to Bradshaw Mountain High School 8–5 at home March 24. Both teams started off strong, scoring two runs each in the first inning.

The 12th annual Northland Prepatory Academy Skydome Classic was held at NAU March 5th, which involved 18 high school track and field programs in Arizona, with athletes competing against each other with the chance to progress to other meets during the season.

 Senior forward Giovanni Hernandez’s return for the Flagstaff High School Eagles was very visible on the field Dec. 9 against the Boulder Creek Jaguars. Hernandez scored the only two goals in the game for either team. The Eagles defeated the Jaguars 2–0, scoring a goal in each half of play.

In a high scoring game, the Coconino High School football team won its homecoming game 55–34 over Barry Goldwater Sept. 25 at Cromer Field. Led by senior quarterback Cristo Tabares and his six touchdown passes, it was their first Homecoming Game victory since 2011 over Tuba City.
